Veterinary Flock Health and Welfare planning is an integral part of the management of any farm. We can assist you in developing a bespoke plan for your flock by arranging an onsite visit. During a visit one of our experienced veterinary team will review flock health over the past year as well as visit the flock and review biosecurity, management and welfare.
Flock health plans are designed using a cost effective preventive medicine approach in mind. It is a dynamic document that should be integrated in to the day to day running of the flock and continuously reviewed and updated as flock conditions and regulations change. It is far better to try and prevent than to adopt a "fire brigade" medicines approach.
